Whoah, whoah, whoah.... just back it up a moment there, not with the reverse camera installed in this little silver bullet, but that bit about the 100th Anniversary..?
I don't recall seeing any pictures of SX4's getting around the colony in 1926?
Don't even recall a Suzuki getting about the docks, ports or train stations of the inner sanctum of the rich and famous early in the 20th Century.
So what's with the 100th Anniversary?
Well after some in depth and exhausting google research, it seems it all boils down to a wonder marketing campaign launched in 2009 surrounding 1 to 2k of extra's for the faithful.....joining in the celebration of Suzuki's worldwide centenary, resulting in value being added by way of fog lights, bluetooth and some questionable anniversary badging.
well, that's pretty underwhelming isn't it?
I'll tell you what's not underwhelming - a lovely silver bullet hatch, kitted out with all wheel drive and lockable 4x4, in a nippy 2.0ltr petrol engine, that's both fuel efficient and effortlessly reliable.
One day they'll have a 100th Anniversary of the SX4, and it will be something to talk about.
if any of us are still around in 2106, we'll find out.
