VERY LOW 30,500kms.
This fantastic piece of English engineering is powered by ROVER’s 4.0 Litre V8 engine with multi-point fuel injection, which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission, driving the rear wheels..
The RV8 convertible is a very comfortable and easy to drive car and is perfect for cruising by the beach with the top down, those long trips down the highway, or on road trips along mountain roads. It’s also just as at ease around town for doing the shopping, going to restaurants or whatever else you may wish to do.
The RV8 was released in 1993 by Rover with the intention of keeping the classic MG name alive. With much of the car being built by hand, the RV8 was (at its core) a classic MGB chassis, with a Rover 4.0L V8 engine. The retro styling is very much MGB inspired, with the doors and bootlid being the same as the original MGB.
1,983 RV8’s were manufactured in total, with approximately 1,579 of them being sold in Japan. The vast majority of Japanese versions were in Woodcoat Green, although a slightly rarer dark metallic Blue and metallic Burgundy were also available.
The interior was quite luxurious, with veneered Burr Elm woodwork and Connolly leather being used for the interior materials.
