The luxurious smell is intoxicating, the comfort is critically relaxing, the ride is like the most comfortable couch in your lounge room, the one every one hustles to sit in first.
With a full and complete service history, and every luxury feature available even in today's cars, including the electric rear sunblind that gloriously folds itself down when you select reverse, i expect a similar kinda hustle form the buyer's on this wonderful Toyota...errr, Lexus saloon.
You see the article come out the other day about the 1993 corolla wagon in NZ that just ticked over 2,000,000klm on the original engine and transmission? Impressive, but no one is particularly surprised to hear it.
You would be in 20yrs to hear a 2015 or 2025 corolla made it that far, it's not going to happen, they don't make 'em like they used to.
In 1995 when Lexus released their LS400, they guaranteed 1,000,000klm, when serviced accordingly.
Apparently that 1993 Corolla was serviced weekly, he did 5,000klms per week as a delivery driver.
This beautiful ES300 hasn't got that kinda service history, but it's well above the average and you can expect a lot more out of it as a result.
It's got rego til almost July next year, Bridgestone Potenza tyres with tonnes of tread, super cold air con and warning label that's missing on the dash.
It read "Warning, this car does not have driver monitoring technology, drive at your own risk. If this car drives you to sleep, that's on you buddy"
