The updated 2027 Zeekr 7X has launched in Australia, with more power, quicker acceleration, sharper styling and a premium interior. One of this country’s most popular electric SUVs, it also comes with new technology.

It builds on its distinctive design with a series of exterior refinements that give the SUV a sharper, more confident presence. Its signature clamshell bonnet and frameless mirrors remain. These are now complemented by redesigned front air ducts.

It also grabs a narrower active grille shutter and a refined rear diffuser. A relocated rear licence plate and auto door button, alongside rear privacy glass, complete the refreshed look. The RWD and Long Range RWD feature 19-inch silver alloy wheels.

The Performance AWD is equipped with 21-inch forged alloy wheels. The 7X retains its overall dimensions, including a 2,900mm wheelbase that delivers generous second-row space. Inside, thoughtful updates enhance the cabin’s comfort and functionality.

A redesigned centre console features relocated cupholders and an additional storage cubby, complemented by a refined armrest and plush suede headlining. Cargo capacity remains generous at 539-litres, expanding to 1,978-litres with the rear seats folded.

The Performance AWD also features a 66-litre front boot. A new two-tone Tech Grey paint finish with a black roof adds a new colour scheme. Available on Long Range RWD and Performance AWD variants, it joins Onyx Black as a standard exterior colour.

That's alongside Crystal White, Forest Green and solid Tech Grey as cost options. Interior choices vary by grade. The RWD features a leather-free Charcoal Black interior, while the Long Range RWD and Performance AWD offer an optional Charcoal Black and Grey interior.

An Ivory and Polar White interior is exclusive to the Performance AWD. For a bolder statement, a new Black Edition Package is available for the Performance AWD. Combining an Onyx Black exterior with blacked-out trim, black Nappa leather upholstery and 20-inch black alloy wheels.

Built on Zeekr’s 800V architecture, the updated 7X gets optimised, more efficient electric motors. Every variant gains 25kW of power and is quicker from 0 to 100km/h than before. The RWD now offers 335kW and 520Nm from its 75kWh battery.

That translates to 482km of range. The Long Range RWD’s 100kWh battery delivers the same power and torque, but up to 627km of range. The Performance AWD offers 500kW and 790Nm, with a 544km range from its 100kWh battery.

The updated 2027 7X supports ultra-fast DC charging of up to 450kW, with a 10 to 80 per cent charge completed in as little as 11 minutes. Technology remains central to the 7X experience, with every variant getting a 16-inch central touchscreen.

It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chipset, alongside a 13-inch digital instrument cluster. A built-in digital video recorder is standard. The Long Range RWD and Performance AWD feature a 36.21-inch augmented reality head-up display.

The updated 2027 7X features a Bosch-based driver assistance system supported by seven cameras and three radars, delivering a comprehensive suite of active safety and driver assistance technologies.

These include adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning and mitigation, evasive manoeuvre assist, and front and rear cross-traffic assist. A 360-degree visual park assist is standard.

The RWD comes well equipped as standard, with a 12-way power driver’s seat with memory, heated front and rear seats, tri-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, and a 10-speaker sound system.

The Long Range RWD adds Nappa leather seats, a built-in refrigerator, a power-operated rear sunshade, ventilated and massage front seats, a heated steering wheel with memory and a 21-speaker sound system.

The Performance AWD builds on this equipment with air suspension, 21-inch forged alloy wheels, intelligent automatic doors and a second-row occupant monitoring camera, allowing the driver to view rear passengers on the central screen.

It’s backed by a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty alongside complimentary 5-year 24/7 roadside assistance. The high-voltage battery is covered by an 8-year or 160,000km warranty (with a 70 per cent health guarantee during that period).

The updated 2027 Zeekr 7X is available to order in Australia from 1 November, with arrivals commencing in December 2026. Pricing remains unchanged across the RWD, Long Range RWD and Performance AWD variants.

The RWD kicks things off at $57,900, while the Long Range RWD is $63,900, with the Performance AWD from $72,900 – all plus on-roads. The first 2,000 orders for the updated model will receive a special package.
