Nissan Australia has confirmed pricing and specs for the new Y63 Patrol, with a six-grade range opening at $98,990 plus on-roads. It brings significant upgrades, including a more powerful engine and a braked towing capacity of 3,700kg.

It features a more rigid chassis, advanced new suspension systems, a more powerful drivetrain and substantial upgrades to in-cabin technology. That includes the introduction of Klipsch premium audio, Google built-in and Gemini AI+.

The Y63 Nissan Patrol line-up spans Ti, Ti+, Ti-L, Ti-L+ and Ti-L Reserve, alongside the off-road-focused PRO-4X. Every grade gets a modern exterior, refined interior, three rows of seats for up to eight people, and a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The combination delivers 317kW of power and 700Nm of torque. That translates to 19kW (approximately 6 percent) more power and 140Nm (approximately 25 percent) more torque than the outgoing Patrol, with peak torque available earlier in the rev range.

It incorporates a scavenger oil pump that maintains lubrication on steep inclines and off-camber terrain. Full-time 4WD with a 4L + 4H interlocking transfer case, an electronic locking rear differential and eight drive and terrain modes feature, along with a widescreen Monolith display.

The base Ti features dual 12.3-inch screens and 3D around view monitor. You also get NissanConnect, tri-zone climate control, synthetic leather seats, 18-inch alloys and ProPILOT safety tech.

The Ti+ (at $109,480 plus on-roads) adds a tilt and slide power sunroof with panoramic glass roof, privacy glass and a powered tailgate. It also gets roof rails and rain-sensing wipers. The $122,690 (plus on-roads) Ti-L increases the dual screens to 14.3-inches each.

It adds a 12-speaker Klipsch audio system and a head-up display. Intelligent dynamic damping suspension features. It rides on 20-inch alloys and gets an upgraded around view monitor. The Ti-L+, at $134,690 (plus on-roads), adds genuine leather seats with heating and ventilation (up front).

There's also massage for the driver, a heated steering wheel and a centre console cool box. It also gets biometric cooling with an in-built pollen and particulate filter and multi-colour ambient lighting. The Ti-L based PRO-4X is priced at $137,590 plus on-roads.

It adds adaptive air suspension with intelligent dynamic damping. It gets black 20-inch alloys, all-terrain tyres and a variant specific front bumper fascia. It grabs a centre console cool box, heated and ventilated front pews.

There's also trailer docking support, an electric trailer brake controller and the same cooling setup as the Ti-L+. The range tops out with the $145,990 (plus on-roads) Ti-L Reserve, which gets everything the Ti-L+ has, plus adaptive air suspension with intelligent dynamic damping.

It sports 22-inch alloys, trailer docking support, and an electric trailer brake controller. It grabs dual 12.8-inch second-row entertainment screens and massage for the front passenger as well. The Y63 Patrol sits on a brand new ladder frame.

Every variant has multi-link independent suspension, paired with electric power steering. Looks wise, Nissan’s signature V-motion grille is wider and more deeply integrated into the bodywork than on any previous Patrol.

Front lighting features headlamps that combine two interlocking C-shaped LED elements. That’s echoed at the rear in the tail-light design. The PRO-4X brings a distinct visual identity inspired by Nissan’s off-road heritage.

This is complemented by distinctive Lava Red accents across the exterior, including the tow hooks, wheel-cap lettering and D-pillar. A unique front bumper fascia is designed to improve the approach angle, while over-fender flares reinforce its rugged character.

This article marks the first official look at the right-hand drive interior too. “Zero Gravity” seats in the first and second rows feature, with Kumiko quilting on select grades. Trailer blind spot warning is standard on all variants.

The new Patrol is backed by Nissan’s 10-year or 300,000km warranty and up to 10 years or 300,000km of roadside assistance, when serviced at authorised dealerships. Flat price servicing ($499 for first 5-years) is included.

Service intervals of 12 months or 15,000km (whichever comes first), ensures the new Patrol is competitive against rivals. Orders for the 2027 Y63 Nissan Patrol are open now, with first customer deliveries early next year.
