Australia set to score quickest Cadillac ever
Cadillac is set to brings its quickest vehicle ever down under. The 458.6kW fully electric LYRIQ-V punches out 880Nm of torque and is capable of hitting the 100km/h mark in just 3.3 seconds. It even features Competitive Mode, enabling a suite of traction management functions.
Among those is standard continuous damping control, specifically calibrated for this vehicle, lowered multi-link suspension and a quicker steering ratio. Utilising a dual motor all-wheel drive platform, it features Cadillac’s Velocity Max function.
The latter is a driver-selectable mode that unleashes the car’s full performance capability. Its 102kWh battery is expected to have a range of 450km. Much like M mode in a performance BMW, the Cadillac sports a customisable V-Mode.
Brembo performance front brake callipers are standard, as is super cruise, the first truly hands-free driver assistance technology. Inside, a 33-inch-diagonal advanced LED display is the standout feature, along with a unique, multi-layered sound experience.
Interior and exterior signature audio are synchronised for an orchestrated sonic experience. Externally, The Cadillac LYRIQ-V features a unique lower front fascia and side rockers, body colored lower trim, and carbon fibre accents.
The V-Series logo adorns the rear doors and the tailgate, while a unique chin spoiler and rockers and V-pattern mesh on the front lower grille further distinguish the LYRIQ-V from other models. It will feature a black roof and 22-inch wheels with a dark sport finish and an etched V-Series logo.
It will be available in a range of colours, including the exclusive Magnus Metal Frost. Inside, a 33-inch-diagonal advanced LED display is the standout feature. That’s along with a unique, multi-layered sound experience.
Interior and exterior signature audio are synchronised for an orchestrated sonic experience via a 23-speaker AKG9 studio audio system with Dolby Atmos.A dual-plane augmented reality head-up display is joined by power-adjustable seat bolsters for the seatbacks and seat cushions on the driver and front passenger seats.
A signature V-Series illuminated sill plate and the option of a full Nappa leather interior complete the package. While local pricing is yet to be confirmed for the 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ-V, it’s expected to cost around $135,000 plus on-roads.
