Toyota Prado Kakadu | KDJ150R | 3.0L 1KD-FTV Turbo Diesel | Pre-DPF | Flagship 7-Seater | Full Service History
This 2013 Toyota LandCruiser Prado Kakadu has travelled 231,600kms and is an exceptional example of one of the most desirable combinations in the 150 Series Prado range.
For buyers who know their Prados, the KDJ150R is particularly sought after. It retains Toyota's proven 3.0L 1KD-FTV turbo diesel from the pre-DPF era, paired with a conventional 5-speed automatic and full-time 4WD then combines that tough, proven drivetrain with the enormous specification of the flagship Kakadu.
This was a family vehicle with full service history and significant recent maintenance already completed. A new turbo was fitted through Toyota in 2025, the transmission was flushed and serviced in 2026, and the vehicle has also been recently serviced.
Completely stock mechanically and never used off-road, this Prado has clearly lived an easy life. The paintwork is super glossy, the interior is immaculate, and the engine bay and underbody are absolutely spotless. The overall condition is fantastic and viewing will impress.
Finished in black with black CSA alloy wheels and Toyo Open Country all-terrain tyres, the black-on-black combination looks fantastic without taking away from the Prado's original character.

The 3.0L 1KD-FTV is one of the big reasons these earlier Prados remain so popular. Producing 127kW and 410Nm, it delivers strong low-down diesel torque and has built an excellent reputation as a long-lasting 4WD engine when properly maintained.
Importantly, this 2013 model is pre-DPF. For buyers deliberately searching for an older diesel Prado without the DPF system fitted to later-generation Toyota diesels, the KDJ150R is a very desirable proposition.
Then there is the Kakadu specification. This was the flagship Prado and Toyota loaded it with considerably more than leather seats and a few luxury options. The Kakadu received sophisticated suspension and genuine 4WD technology alongside an exceptionally well-equipped seven-seat interior.

The real appeal of this Prado is the complete package.
You get the desirable pre-DPF 1KD drivetrain, the huge specification of the flagship Kakadu, full service history, substantial recent maintenance and the sort of condition that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in an older 4WD.
Rather than a modified or hard-used Prado, this is a beautifully maintained Perth family vehicle that has remained mechanically stock and has never been used off-road. The condition underneath tells the same story as the body and interior.
If you're specifically looking for a KDJ150R, this is the sort of example worth inspecting.
Immaculate, exceptionally well maintained and extremely hard to fault. Viewing will impress.

2013 Toyota LandCruiser FAQ
What is the fuel consumption of a 2013 Toyota LandCruiser in Australia?
The 2013 Toyota LandCruiser has an average fuel consumption of approximately 12.5 L/100 km for combined city and highway driving, based on Australian testing standards. Given its size and off-road capabilities, this figure is competitive for a large SUV.
What are the main features of each 2013 Toyota LandCruiser variant in Australia?
In Australia, the 2013 Toyota LandCruiser was primarily available in two main variants: the LandCruiser 200 Series and the LandCruiser 70 Series. The LandCruiser 200 Series is designed for luxury and comfort while still being capable off-road. Key features include a 4.5L V8 turbo-diesel engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, full-time four-wheel drive, and advanced safety systems including stability control and multiple airbags. The interior is equipped with leather upholstery, a premium JBL sound system, and a touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation. The LandCruiser 70 Series, on the other hand, is more utilitarian, built for heavy-duty tasks. It is available in dual cab and single cab variants, featuring a robust design and a 4.5L V8 turbo-diesel engine similar to that of the 200 Series. While it lacks some luxury features, it is equipped with essential items like air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, and a durable interior. This variant is better suited for rugged applications, emphasizing reliability and capability in challenging environments. Overall, while the 200 Series caters to those looking for a combination of luxury and off-road capability, the 70 Series remains focused on strength and functionality.
How does the 2013 Toyota LandCruiser compare to other models in its class?
