The current-generation AZSH20 Crown a genuine step forward from
the Crowns that came before it. Built on Toyota's TNGA rear-wheel-
drive platform, the same architecture underpinning the Lexus LS and
LC, combining a low centre of gravity and properly resolved handling
with the quiet, effortless cruising the Crown has always been known
for.
The 2.5L hybrid pairs a Dynamic Force petrol engine with an electric
motor and e-CVT. No plug, no charging the system manages itself.
EV mode allows short low-speed running on electric power alone, and
brake hold with an electronic parking brake makes stop-start traffic
considerably less tiring.
The Executive grade earns its name inside: front heated AND
