We are excited to bring to you this immaculate and with showroom quality in condition special EL GT Falcon with a super low and original 39,000kms and 1 of 3 GT's optioned with a factory Sunroof. This beautiful representation of the EL GT model with build number 210 ordered from new with a factory Sunroof and originally bought new from a Ford Dealership in Perth on. This EL GT has been with its last owner from when it was a demo and has been his pride and joy and been in storage where it has been kept as good as new backed with all its original log books and Full service History 2 x keys and 2 sets of GT wheels come with it, with the original 17 inch GT wheels as well as a Brand new set of 19 inch remake EL GT wheels from Global Trim which cost 4k with new tyres.
The EL was released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first XR GT Flacon, a car which started the Muscle Car craze in Australia. This EL GT, finished in beautiful dark Heritage green duco and is the ideal late model weekend cruiser or a bought a an asset as these will only keep going up in value. 2 sets of GT wheels come with it, with the original 17 inch GT wheels as well as a Brand new set of 19 inch remake EL GT wheels from Global Trim. Additional to the late model comfort of this modern Muscle Car is the optional four speed automatic transmission. The interior is also all original and in showroom condition. Leather seats are in pristine condition, its original MOMO steering wheel and original GT floor matts are as new. The car still also has its original logbook, folder, touch up paint and other associated items. The EL GT had a Tickford Vehicle Engineering Ford SVO GT40 5.0 litre V8, producing 200 kilowatts (268 hp) of power due to the special SVO GT40 cylinder heads, a high compression ratio of 9.0:1, large valves, heavy-duty valve springs, roller cam followers, fuel injection with a large throttle body and exhaust extractors. Type BTR 95LE 4-speed + overdrive automatic transmission, with lock up torque converter and electronically recalibrated shift points through the use of a separate EEC-IV management, Handling was improved with a larger anti-roll bar, urethane bushes, higher-rate springs and retuned front shock absorbers. The EL GT had a 3.45:1 ratio differential with a live axle and its top speed was around 230 km/h (140 mph). Unlike what was first anticipated, the 30th anniversary EL Falcon GT was based loosely on the Fairmont Ghia rather than the XR models, with only 250 built for Australia 135 were (4 Speed) automatic and 115 were (5 speed) manual. 15 extra EL GT Falcons were built for New Zealand and 2 of those went to South Africa
