I once bet someone that you can't buy a Hey look, it's a BK Mazda 3 that is built in 2009!

i once bet someone that wasn't possible.

That rubbish BL model starts in 2009, and commenced a dark period in Mazda 3 history until about 2013.

The golden days of the Mazda 3 were from 2003 until 2008 when the BK reigned supreme.

This is one of those.

But i lost the bet cause they did make some in 2009.

my theory is they were about to launch the new model, when someone in the factory realised they were crap, the dashes were bubbling, the window regs failed before they made it on the boat and the transmissions were bucking about aboard the ramps on the docks.

i imagine a scene similar to the robot revolution in i-Robot, amongst a vast sea of 40ft shipping containers, where the new models are killing the old models as they pose a threat for their future.

yeah, just like that. it's probably what happened.
