With 100kW/220Nm the base 116i has as much power as the outgoing 118i, while the latest 118i produces 125kW/250Nm for a noticeable performance increase. The 118d turbodiesel produces 105kW/320Nm and sniffs fuel at the rate of 4.5L/100km. All engines come with auto stop/start and an economy-encouraging ECO PRO mode.
